Event details

San Diego - Muddy Dash takes place on May 2, 2026 at Bates Nut Farm, 15954 Woods Valley Rd, Valley Center, CA 92082. Packet pick up at the venue is scheduled for May 1, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Participants are asked to check in 45 minutes prior to their scheduled wave time. There are two registration tiers: Value and VIP. Value registration includes a race bib, finisher medal, post-race party access, and use of the event mud pits. VIP registration includes those Value items plus VIP check-in, an event T-shirt, towel, drawstring bag, socks, and a silicone wristband.

Race and logistics

The course covers a few miles and features about a dozen "Muddy Moments" where participants will run, walk, crawl, wade, slip, or slide; mud pits are described as no deeper than waist-deep. The event is non-competitive and does not include official timing; costumes are permitted. There may be a cash-only parking charge of up to $20 collected by the venue. Early parking passes will be available for purchase at packet pick up. Bag check is available on race day for a $5 fee (paid at registration). Spectator admission is free.
