Double Peak Challenge

Double Peak Challenge is the 11th annual trail event held in San Marcos, California, near 1105 Elfin Forest Road. Races begin at San Elijo Park and climb a total of 1,176 feet to reach Double Peak's summit at 1,558 feet, offering panoramic views of North County's highest point.

The 10K field receives a racer's bib, a wooden medal, and a shirt. The 5K Fun Run also includes a racer's bib, a wooden medal, and a shirt; it is not scored for time but allows participants to compare their previous course results. The Kids Trail Trot is a short sprint course for younger runners and awards a finisher's medal to participants.
