Muddy Boots 10K : event details
Muddy Boots 10K takes place in Ripon, North Yorkshire, with the start and finish at St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School. The main race is a chip-timed event with an approximate distance of 10 km. Entry is limited to 500 places. Early-bird prices end on 15 November. Entry fees for the main race are listed as £16 (affiliated) and £18 (unaffiliated). Entry on the day is not available for the 10K. The event is organised by the St Wilfrid's Association and funds raised are used for school activities and improvements.
Course, facilities and fun run
The course is multi-terrain and undulating, using road, footpaths and trails through farmland and countryside. Race headquarters is at St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School, Church Lane, Ripon, HG4 2ES.
Distances:
- 10 km multi-terrain, single lap
- 1 km fun run across school and adjoining fields
Facilities at Race HQ and on course include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Homemade refreshments will be available for purchase. The Muddy Boots Fun Run is open to all ages; children under five must be accompanied. All Fun Run finishers receive a medal.
