Event Details
The Muddy Boots is a chip-timed 10-kilometre multi-terrain run. The course is undulating and includes roads, footpaths, and trails through farmland and countryside. It starts and finishes at St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School in Ripon, North Yorkshire.
A separate Muddy Boots Fun Run of approximately 1 kilometre takes place before the 10k event. It is open to all ages, with children under five requiring adult accompaniment. All Fun Run finishers receive a medal.
Facilities
Race HQ is at the primary school. Homemade refreshments, including cakes, are available for purchase before, during, and after the races. Water stations, distance markers, and toilets are provided. There are no changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store. Space at the HQ is limited, so participants are asked to arrive ready to run.
Organizer
The event is organized by the St Wilfrid's Association (the school's PTA), a registered charity. All funds raised support extracurricular activities and school improvements. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
