Logistics, kit and rules

Accommodation is provided from the end of Day 1 through to the end of Day 16; competitors must arrange accommodation at Land's End and after finishing. Maps and GPX files are supplied to entrants only, emailed about four weeks before the event. Each entrant receives hi-viz clothing and a pair of sponsor-provided road shoes approximately two months before the race; a second pair may be supplied at the start if the competitor elects to run the entire event using only the sponsor shoes. URL issues tracking devices with SOS functionality for real-time monitoring.

The event is cup-free; competitors must bring a reusable cup. Mandatory kit includes a backpack, head torch with spare batteries, route maps, compass or GPS, whistle, mobile phone, basic first-aid and emergency food. The organisers enforce a minimum average pace of 4 mph with preset cut-off times; consecutive days below this minimum will result in withdrawal. No competitor may continue on course after 22:00. Entry fees are non-refundable. Entrants must be 20 years or over on the start day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
