About the race
MTC LEJOG is Ultra Running Ltd’s multi‑day road race from Lands End to John O’Groats, reversing the classic LEJOG route. The 854‑mile course climbs about 16,600 metres and is run almost entirely on roads, with annual route tweaks for safety. The 17‑day event imposes a 4 mph minimum pace and a no-running-after-22:00 rule.
Competitors receive six hi‑viz tops and a hi‑viz jacket, plus free footwear, and must carry a reusable cup. Accommodation along the route is provided, and real‑time tracking is available. Finisher rewards include a LEJOG medal, trophy, champagne, and an extra medal at Gretna Green. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
