Event overview
Man Up & Down 2026 is a timed coastal trail run organised by Purple Gecko Events in support of Man Down Cornwall. The event is the seventh outing and covers a 20-kilometre route along the North Cornwall coast between Portreath and Perranporth. Every finisher receives a medal and there are awards for the top three male and female finishers. There is free race photography and an option to make a voluntary donation to the charity when entering.

The course follows the North Cornish coastline with one staffed checkpoint at St. Agnes Head stocked with fluids and salt and sugar snacks. There are no cut off times. Participants must be at least 18 years old. The event is timed using ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. Optional extras include a return shuttle minibus from Perranporth back to Portreath and an event race t-shirt for an extra charge.
