Event overview
Bownder takes place at Lamarth Farm, Helston (TR12 7QP) on Saturday 16 May and Sunday 17 May 2026. The event is a looped race series contained within the farm and its lanes. Races are multi-terrain and mostly on trail. Entries open 31 December 2025 and close two weeks before the event. Entry fees range from £20 to £150. The organiser is Bys Vyken Events. Free parking is available at the farm.

Each distance is offered as both affiliated and unaffiliated options. All races use the same loops and finish in the main camping field at Lamarth Farm. Kit lists are compulsory for all races except the 10k and half marathon. Crew support is allowed; support runners on course are not permitted. Finishers receive an event medal and 100 mile finishers receive a buckle.
Policies and safety
Refunds are available up to four weeks before the event; deferrals are allowed up to two weeks before the event and cannot be refunded at the subsequent race. If the Met Office issues an Amber or Red weather warning the race cannot take place; it may be rescheduled or held virtually. ARC permit numbers are ARC/26/0057 and ARC/26/0058.
