Event overview
Bownder is a looped race festival held at Lamarth Farm, Helston TR12 7QP, on Saturday 16 May 2026 and Sunday 17 May 2026. The event is contained within the farm and its lanes and uses mostly trail and multi-terrain routes. Entries open 31 December 2025 and close two weeks before the event. The organiser offers affiliated and unaffiliated options for each distance. Free parking is available at the farm; car sharing is recommended. An event medal is provided to all finishers and a buckle is awarded to 100-mile finishers. Kit lists are compulsory for all races except the 10k and half marathon.

Each race is named after a field on the farm. All races run the same loops and share a common finish area in the main camping field at Lamarth Farm. Crew are allowed on course but support runners are not. Refunds are available up to four weeks before the event; deferrals are allowed up to two weeks before the event and deferrals cannot be refunded at the subsequent race.
