Event overview
Run Like Hell is a coastal trail race organised by Bys Vyken Events on the North Cornwall coast. The course is an out-and-back route that starts and finishes at Hell's Mouth. The route follows the rugged north cliffs to Portreath and returns along maintained footpaths. The distance is 13km (8.2 miles) and the race is described as multi-terrain with fast trails and large hills. A 3 hour cut-off applies.
Logistics and policies
Parking is available at the start location and car sharing is recommended. Entry categories vary and include a discounted "Green Entry" for participants who run or cycle to the event priced at £15. All entries close two weeks before the race. Refunds are available up to four weeks before the event and deferrals up to two weeks before the event; deferrals cannot be refunded at a subsequent race. If the Met Office issues an Amber or Red weather warning the race will not take place; organisers will attempt to reschedule or hold a virtual event if rescheduling is not possible.
