Boundary Breeze Sprint Triathlon
Boundary Breeze Sprint Triathlon is a club-run event staged at Boundary Water Park with race headquarters at Allostock Village Hall in the Cheshire countryside near Holmes Chapel and Knutsford. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 12th July 2026 and includes a triathlon and an aquabike option.
Distances
- Triathlon: 750m swim, 24km bike, 5k run
- Aquabike: 750m swim, 24km bike
The open water swim is a single clockwise lap of the lake, clearly marked with buoys. The swim exit is sandy and soft underfoot, followed by a short grass run to transition. Water temperatures have generally been warm and some competitors choose not to wear wetsuits.
The bike leg follows mainly flat Cheshire country roads and comprises two slightly different laps. The course is marshalled and returns to Boundary Water Park for transition to the run. The run begins with a short section around the park then continues as two out-and-back laps on traffic-free closed roads shaded by trees. There is a drinks station at the start and end of each lap. Much of the run route is on private land and is available for use only on race day.
Registration and parking are handled at Allostock Village Hall. Refreshments and free parking are available for competitors and spectators. Entry statuses for individual, aquabike and relay places are listed as TBC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
