Laurel Park Turkey Day 5K
The Laurel Park Turkey Day 5K is the 18th annual non-competitive charity event held in Concord, North Carolina at 530 Georgetown Drive NW. The event is open to everyone; strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. All races start and finish by the tennis courts on Georgetown Drive.

The event supports local charities. The main beneficiary is the Junior Charity League of Concord. Additional financial contributions will go to Opportunity House and Pet Lifeline Alliance. Organizers will also collect non-perishable food items for the Second Harvest Backpack Program at Weddington Hills Elementary School.
Registration details and fees are provided by the organizer. Registration opens September 20. Entry fees listed by the organizer are Adults 13 and up $30, Children 12 and under $20, and a Shirt Only option for $20. Fees increase by $5 after November 11. Registration by November 11 guarantees a shirt while supplies last. Online registration closes November 23. In-person registration and packet pickup take place at the Laurel Park clubhouse on November 25 and November 26 at the times published by the organizer.
There are no refunds of registration fees. The event proceeds in most weather conditions, and organizers reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances; in that case entry fees are used as charitable donations and race packets remain available for pickup.
