Move MGM COLOR Run
The Move MGM COLOR Run takes place on June 13, 2026 at Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex in Montgomery, Alabama. The event was created by Move Montgomery to promote wellness in the River Region and to encourage healthier living among Montgomery residents.
The event is organized as a run/walk along the loop around Buddy Watson Park. Participants complete the loop at their own pace. Several locations along the course will feature color stations where participants are doused with vibrant color as part of the Paint the Park! activity.
Registration for the event is free. Registration opens April 24, 2026 and closes June 13, 2026. A run shirt is available for the first 600 registrants to pick up prior to the event. There is a shirt pick-up on June 12 at Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex. Day-of registration and shirt pick-up are available at the venue.
While registering, participants are invited to make a donation to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank to support efforts to fight food insecurity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
