Mountain Man Triathlon
The Mountain Man Triathlon is a local, family-run event held at Lake Mary near Flagstaff in the southwestern United States. The race was founded in 1984 and is noted as the fifth oldest triathlon west of the Mississippi River.
The course passes areas with views of the San Francisco Peaks, Lake Mary, and Mormon Lake. The event takes place after the monsoon season when local flora are in full bloom. The Upper Lake Mary boat docks are located about ten miles south of Flagstaff on Lake Mary Road at mile post 333.

Awards and event services are provided on site. All finishers receive medals and handcrafted awards. Food is available and the event description notes opportunities for social activities. Timing is provided by 4 Peaks Racing using RFID Timing Systems. Participants wear a reusable timing chip around the ankle with a Velcro strap; chips must be returned after the event.
