Mother's Day 5k, 10k, & 1M in Fredericksburg
The event takes place on May 9, 2027 at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Points earned count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Kids, and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Spring Series. A virtual run option is available.

The course runs along the Rappahannock River on a paved path and includes a few small hills. The 5k is an out-and-back route; the 10k covers the 5k course twice. Walkers and strollers are welcome, and the route is stated to be suitable for strollers and children.
Participants receive a finisher's medal, a technical event shirt, and the event uses chip timing. Five water stations are placed along the 10k at approximate mile markers 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, and 5.2; two water stations are on the 5k at about miles 1 and 2.1. Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located near the parking area and parking is available inside Old Mill Park.
Packet pickup is available at the event. Race day registration is offered, with t shirt sizes not guaranteed for same day registrants. The event benefits Gwyneth's Gift Foundation, which raises awareness of CPR and AED use.
Awards include the top three men and women overall and first and second place in multiple age groups; overall top three are not eligible for age group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
