2027 Mother's Day 5k, 10k, and 1 Miler at Old Mill Park
This event offers multiple distances at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg, VA, with a paved course that runs alongside the Rappahannock River. The route includes a few small hills and is described as suitable for strollers and children. The 5k is an out-and-back course and the 10k repeats the 5k loop twice.

Participants receive a finisher's medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and the event is chip timed. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before April 28; sizes for race day registrants cannot be guaranteed. A virtual race option is offered for those who cannot attend in person.
Water and on-course support are provided. The 10k course has five water stations at approximate mile markers 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, and 5.2. The 5k course has two water stations at about miles 1 and 2.1. Gatorade is available at some water stations. Restrooms are located near the parking lot inside the park.
Results are posted live on Athlinks and via a QR code at the race, with final results and series points published the Monday after the event. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in multiple age groups; overall top three finishers are not eligible for age group awards.
