MoRun Newcastle
MoRun Newcastle is a running event supporting the Movember charity, focusing on men's health. It takes place on Saturday, 21 November 2026 at Exhibition Park in Newcastle Upon Tyne (NE2 4PZ).
The event offers four race distances:
- 1.5k Mini MoRun
- 5k MoRun
- 10k MoRun
- Half Marathon MoRun
The course is in Exhibition Park. It is a mix of path and tarmac, described as flat. It is dog-friendly and may be suitable for buggies, though some sections are noted as bumpy. It is not suitable for wheelchairs. The route involves laps: the 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the half marathon includes an initial 1.1k loop followed by four full laps.
Every participant receives a finisher's medal and a headband. The event is fully chip-timed, providing instant results. Drinks and snacks are available at the finish line. Additional bonus medals are awarded for categories like fastest runner and best dressed. A fancy dress competition takes place before the runs.
There is no parking within Exhibition Park, so participants are encouraged to walk, cycle, use public transport, or park nearby before entering the park. Bag storage is provided but space is limited.
