MoRun Newcastle
MoRunning stages a MoRun at Exhibition Park in Newcastle on 21 November 2026 to raise awareness and funds for Movember. The event offers chip-timed races and family friendly activities at the event hub.
The event includes these distances:
- 1.5k Mini MoRun
- 5k MoRun
- 10k MoRun
- Half Marathon MoRun
The route is a mix of path and tarmac, described as flat, dog friendly and suitable for buggy running though some sections can be bumpy. The 5k is one lap, the 10k is two laps, and the half marathon begins with a 1.1k loop followed by four full laps. Course marshals will be present and runners are asked to keep to the left unless directed otherwise.
Participants receive a MoRun medal and a finisher headband. Races use full race chip timing with instant results. Drinks and sweets are available at the finish line and bonus medals may be awarded for categories such as best dressed or fastest moustache.
Practical notes: the postcode is NE2 4PZ for Exhibition Park and there is no parking inside the park. The event supports Movember, which raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
