LSD Back Yard Ultra
LSD Back Yard Ultra is a Backyard Ultra format event organised by Heart and Soul Racing at West Benridge Farm, Morpeth, in Northumberland. The race uses a repeating loop of 4.167-mile (6.7 km) that runners must complete every hour. Each hour a new lap begins; runners must start the next lap at the hourly bell to remain in the race. The event continues until only one runner completes a solo lap and is declared the Last Standing.
The event date is Saturday 11 April 2027 and capacity is limited to 200 runners. Athlete camping is included on the main field; crew and spectators are welcome. On-site parking, camping, aid stations, toilets, first aid, and hot food and drinks are available throughout the day and night.
Rules highlighted by the organiser include completing one lap per hour, starting at the bell, no pacers, and the Last Standing wins the event. The Last Standing prize is £500 in Start Fitness vouchers. Discounted or free entry is available for runners with recent Backyard Ultra results according to published tiers.
