SalTri & Aquabike
SalTri & Aquabike is a triathlon and aquabike event held at MediaCityUK, Salford Quays on Sunday 2 August 2026. The programme includes standard and sprint distances, plus relay entries and separate aquabike races.
Distances available:
- Standard: Swim 1.5 km, Bike 43.7 km, plus run course.
- Sprint: Swim 750 m, Bike 21.8 km, plus run course.
Swims take place in Dock 9, the venue for Uswim open water sessions. The bike course is a fast, flat multi-lap route using a mixture of closed and open roads in Trafford and around The Quays. The run passes local landmarks such as the Lowry Theatre and the Imperial War Museum North.
Event services and event day features include bespoke medals, a goody bag and swim cap, trophies and prizes for overall and age group categories, race commentary, race photos, live timing with online results, first aid cover and marshals.
