Morson Salford Triathlon & Aquabike
The Morson Salford Triathlon & Aquabike is a one day event at MediaCityUK, Salford Quays on 2 August 2026. The venue includes The Open Centre at 111 Broadway, MediaCityUK, Salford, Greater Manchester, M50 2EQ and Dock 9 is used for the swim.
Race formats comprise standard and sprint triathlon distances, standard and sprint aquabike, and a standard triathlon relay for teams of two or three. Minimum competitor age is 16 and the maximum listed age is 99. Entry periods run from 19 October 2025 to 26 July 2026.

- Sprint Triathlon: Swim 750 m, Bike 20.8 km, Run 5.2 km

- Sprint Aquabike: Swim 750 m, Bike 20.8 km
The swim takes place in Dock 9. The bike course is a flat, anti clockwise multi lap route on quiet open roads around MediaCityUK and wider Salford and Trafford areas. The run passes local landmarks such as The Lowry Theatre and the Imperial War Museum North. Facilities listed for competitors include toilets at the Open Centre and portaloos at the swim area, available parking at the Quayside MediaCityUK car park, provision of swim caps and race numbers at registration, and basic bike checks on the day.
