Event information
The Morson Salford Triathlon & Aquabike takes place on Sunday 19 July 2026 at MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, Manchester (M50 2EQ). The event is organised by Qswim Adventure (T/A Uswim Adventure Limited). Entries open 19 October 2025 and close 12 July 2026. Minimum age is 16 or older; maximum age is 99 or younger. Entry fees vary by race type, for example: Standard Triathlon £88, Sprint Triathlon £76, Standard Aquabike £78, Sprint Aquabike £68, Standard Relay (2-3 people) £135. Registration is at The Open Centre, 111 Broadway, MediaCityUK. Toilets are available at the Open Centre, nearby cafes, and portaloo facilities. Parking is at Quayside MediaCityUK Car Park, The Quays, Salford, M50 3TY.
Courses and race logistics
Swims take place in Dock 9. Bike courses are flat, anti-clockwise multi-lap routes on open roads around MediaCityUK and wider Salford and Trafford areas. The event is run as draft-legal on the bike. Competitors are advised to ensure bikes are road worthy and to carry a basic repair kit and mobile phone if desired. Mobile bike marshals provide basic assistance and pickups are for emergencies only. Swim caps and race numbers are provided at registration; race belts are permitted and wetsuits are optional. Lights are recommended but not mandatory.
