Morpeth 10K & Juniors : 27 June 2027
The Morpeth 10K & Juniors takes place in Morpeth, Northumberland, with the start and finish beside the town's historic clock tower. The event is organised by RunThrough and uses closed roads through the town and surrounding countryside.
The main race is a predominantly flat, officially measured 10 km course that passes key landmarks in the town before entering a two-lap loop through nearby rural scenery. The course includes accurately marked kilometres with distance flags and marshals positioned to guide and encourage participants. Chip timing is used for official results.
To manage race flow the 10K is run in two waves based on expected finish time: 10K A-Race for sub 40 minutes and 10K B-Race for over 40 minutes. A separate junior race lets younger runners take part with crowd support on race day.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, and post-race goodies. An event village offers food and drink options along with free items from partners at the finish.
