Morpeth 10K

The Morpeth 10K is a road-closed race through the centre of Morpeth, with start and finish in front of the Town Hall clock tower. The course is undulating and passes local landmarks before continuing onto country lanes in the Northumberland countryside. Strong community support and a busy finish area in the town centre are part of the event atmosphere.

The route is clearly signed and well marshalled from the first turn to the final sprint. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags. Stocked water stations and accurate chip timing are provided. Free race photos are available and results are chip-timed.

Entry options listed for the event include a standard 10K entry, a RunThrough Foundation Place entry with no fundraising required, and a junior race. Published entry fees include £32 for the 10K, £80 for the RunThrough Foundation Place option, and £10 for the junior race. The event notes a themed medal, post-race goodies, and an event village with food and drink options and partner giveaways at the finish.

An event t-shirt with the event logo is offered at a discount when purchased as part of entry. The organiser also highlights ongoing work on sustainability for future events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
