The Morpeth 10K takes place on closed roads, starting and finishing in front of the Town Hall clock tower in the centre of Morpeth. Participants follow an undulating course that passes various local landmarks before transitioning onto country lanes within the Northumberland countryside.
Available distances:
- 10 km
The route is fully signed and marshalled, with distance flags marking every kilometre. Water stations are positioned along the course to support participants. The event uses electronic chip timing to provide accurate results for all finishers.
An event village is located at the site, offering food and drink options as well as various post-race goodies. Participants receive a unique themed medal and access to free digital race photos after the event. Official event t-shirts featuring the race logo are available as an optional purchase during the registration process.
The event is held on a Sunday and includes support from marshals stationed from the start line to the final sprint.
