Newcastle Half Marathon and 10k
The Newcastle Half Marathon and 10k takes place on Sunday, 12th July 2026. Both races start and finish at Kingston Park Stadium, the home ground of the Newcastle Red Bulls Rugby Union. The event is organized in partnership with Newcastle Frontrunners, an inclusive running club, as part of their Pride Month awareness campaign.
Participants follow courses on closed roads that lead through countryside lanes around Newcastle Airport and Dinnington. Due to the road closure requirements, there is a 3 hour cut-off time for the races. The event village at Kingston Park Stadium features various food and drink options for participants and spectators.

Participants receive chip-timed results and free race photos after the event. Each finisher is awarded a unique themed medal and post-race goodies at the finish line. While t-shirts are not included in the standard entry fee to reduce costs and environmental impact, technical shirts featuring the event logo are available for separate purchase.
