The Northumberlandia 10K Trail Race
The event is a trail race held at Northumberlandia in Cramlington. The adult event covers a 10 km course that uses the landform itself and surrounding countryside, including parts of a former open cast site that are normally off limits.
The route includes hills, fast stone paths, soft trail sections and forest tracks. The course is fully way marked and a water station is provided at mile 4. All finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Facilities on site include an event village with café and stalls, plus toilets and parking. Children are invited to a separate 1 mile fun run that loops around Northumberlandia; children may enter free with an adult entered in the main event. Dogs are not permitted in the race.
Participants may be photographed or filmed and images can be used for promotional purposes. The organiser has permission to use the landform and adjacent areas for the race.
