Event Overview

The Moray Way 100 is a 100-mile ultra trail race. It starts and finishes at Grant Park in Forres, Scotland.

Route Description

The route follows three long-distance trails consecutively. It begins by passing through Forres High Street and heading towards the Findhorn area, then joins the Moray Coastal Trail. The coastal section includes Roseisle Forest, paths near Burghead, clifftop trails between Hopeman and Covesea, and a beach run to Lossiemouth. The course then crosses the Lossiemouth Bridge and heads south via Kingston towards Fochabers. From there, the route joins the Speyside Way, passing through whisky distillery country near Craigellachie and Aberlour, continuing to Grantown-on-Spey. The final section follows the Dava Way back to the finish in Forres.

The event takes place on Saturday 27 June 2026. The cutoff time is 30 hours. Entry is limited to 100 participants and costs £100. Entrants must be at least 18 years old and have experience with ultra-distance running. The organizer describes the race as "predominantly runnable" and "mainly self-sufficient."
