Montessori Key West 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run
This event on Sunday, December 6, 2026 brings a community running program to Truman Waterfront Park in Key West, centered at the promenade by the USCGC Ingham Maritime Museum. The event includes a main 5K Run/Walk and two kids fun runs in a park setting that offers a nearby playground.

Top finishers in the 5K and the 1 mile receive award medals. All participants receive finisher medals, and t-shirts are provided for the first 100 registered. The event features refreshments, an award ceremony, and a post-race dance party. A Finish Line FOAM Party follows the kids races; the foam is described as eco-friendly and hypoallergenic, made of coconut oil and coconut husk.
Pre-registration and packet pickup occur on Friday, December 4 at the Montessori School, 1221 Varela St. Registration fees are listed for each race. Proceeds benefit the Montessori Children's School of Key West, a non-profit parent-based corporation serving children ages 18 months through 8th grade; donations are tax deductible.
