A Positive Step of Monroe County is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025 in Key West, FL. The event includes a 5K run/walk that starts and finishes at the Southernmost Beach Café, located at 1405 Duval St, Key West, FL 33040. The entry fee is $40. Pre-race packet pickup is planned for Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Southernmost Beach Café. Registrants receive a free t-shirt. The race is presented by A Positive Step of Monroe County, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, together with the Key West Southernmost Runners Club. Proceeds benefit A Positive Step of Monroe County; donations are tax deductible.
Course and additional information
The course runs from the Southernmost Beach Café along South Street toward Casa Marina, past Higgs Beach and White Street Pier to a turnaround point and then returns to the start. All miles will be marked. After the event there will be refreshments, prizes, and a silent auction, including prizes for most festive and unusual pajamas.
