Event Overview
The Montauk Lighthouse Triathlon takes place in Montauk, New York, featuring a course that concludes at the historic Montauk Point Lighthouse. This multisport event is organized with two separate transition areas. Participants can choose from several categories, including individual entry, relay teams, AquaBike, and BikeRun.
Course Details
The competition consists of three distinct segments held on a point-to-point layout:
- 1/2 mile swim starting at Gin Beach.
- 14 mile bike through Montauk and around Gosman's Dock.
- 5 km run on wide, closed, and paved roads.
The bike course returns athletes toward the lighthouse area, and the final run leads directly to the finish line located at the landmark structure.
Participation Info
The event is open to athletes aged 14 to 99. Services provided for participants include packet pick-up, designated parking areas, and photography services along the course.
