OMAC May Day 5K 2026
The OMAC May Day 5K is an annual run and walk event held at Main Beach in East Hampton, New York. Taking place in early May, the event honors Mental Health Awareness Month, with proceeds supporting the Tyler Project. This organization focuses on mental health awareness, counseling, and educational programs for students and families.

Participants receive live results via text or email, along with free finish line photos and video. Those who register at least three weeks before the event will have their names printed on their race bibs. Event t-shirts are provided to the first 400 participants to pick up their race packets, though sizes are not guaranteed.
Specific regulations are in place for the safety and comfort of all attendees. Dogs, scooters, and bicycles are strictly prohibited from the beach and the race course. Participants with strollers are permitted but are asked to start at the back of the pack. Free parking is available at the location. Award categories include the top male and female finishers overall, as well as the top three male and female finishers in various age groups ranging from 14 and under to 70 and over.
