Katy's Courage 5K Run/Walk
Katy's Courage 5K Run/Walk is a community road race in Sag Harbor. Proceeds will support Katy's Courage programs, including local scholarships and cancer research.
Amenities provided for participants include T-shirts, a DJ and music, and on-course refreshments such as hot chocolate, donuts, and bagels.
Awards are given as trophies to the top male and female overall and medals to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90+.
The course begins on Water Street and finishes adjacent to the water and a harbor. The route is generally flat with a few small, gentle hills.
Packet pickup and race day registration take place the morning of the event in front of Baron's Cove. Participants must know their bib number to pick up their bib; a self-lookup area is available. Registering three weeks in advance allows a personalized race number. If registration occurs within 24 hours of bib pickup, the bib number can be sent by text within 90 seconds or obtained via bib lookup.
