Katy's Courage 5K Run/Walk
Katy's Courage is presented as a community 5K run/walk held in Sag Harbor, NY. Registration is listed as not yet open; previous event information on the page notes an edition on April 18, 2026.
Amenities for participants include tee shirts, DJ and music, hot chocolate, donuts, bagels and other refreshments. Awards are given with trophies for the top male and female overall and medals for the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 plus.
Proceeds are designated for Katy's Courage and are to be used for local scholarships and cancer research. Packet pickup and race day registration are handled the morning of the event in front of Baron's Cove; there is a self lookup area for bib numbers and procedures for last minute registrations are described by the organizer.
The course begins on Water Street and finishes adjacent to the water and the harbor. The route is described as generally flat with a few small gentle hills. Results are provided live online, by email and text, and same-day finish line photos and video are made available; additional photos are posted on Facebook.
