Katy's Courage 5K Run/Walk 2027
Katy's Courage 5K Run/Walk is a community road event scheduled for 2027 in Sag Harbor, NY. Registration is not yet open; past-race information is available and organizers note registration will open ahead of the event date.
The event offers participant amenities including T-shirts for all entrants, DJ and live music, and on-course or post-race refreshments such as hot chocolate, donuts, bagels, and other refreshments. Packet pickup and race day registration occur on the morning of the event in front of Baron's Cove. Runners who register three weeks in advance may receive a personalized race number. A self-lookup area is available for participants who do not know their bib number, and late registrants can receive their bib number by text when applicable.
Awards are presented with trophies for the top male and female overall and medals for the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 to 79; 80 to 89; and 90 and above. Proceeds will go to Katy's Courage and will be used for local scholarships and cancer research.
The course begins on Water Street and finishes adjacent to the water and the harbor. The route is generally flat with a few small, gentle hills. Live online, email, or text results and same-day finish-line photos are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
