The Montane Trail 13 & 26 Grizedale takes place on Sunday 1st February 2026 at Grizedale Visitor Centre, Hawkshead, Cumbria (postcode LA22 0QJ). The event offers both a marathon and a half marathon. The event often fills in advance.

Course and terrain
The half marathon follows the first 13 miles of the marathon route on good forest tracks. The route is described as undulating and includes views of Coniston and the surrounding area. The half marathon finishes at Grizedale Visitor Centre. Marathon runners continue beyond that point on an eastern loop towards Windermere.
