The route passes named fells and locations including Raise, Helvellyn, Nethermost Pike, Dollywaggon Pike, Grisedale Tarn, Fairfield, Red Screes, Kirkstone Pass, High Street, Angle Tarn, Place Fell, Hartsop Hall and Brothers Water. Trackers are issued for safety and to confirm passage of key points. There are minimum age rules for each option and family entry provisions for the Patterdale 10km Challenge. Public transport options are available between Patterdale School and Kirkstone Pass. Cut off points are applied at Kirkstone Pass and Boredale Hause to manage safety and finish procedures. Entry fees are treated as donations split between Patterdale C of E Primary School and St Patrick's Church. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
