Event overview
The Windermere Triathlons & Duathlons take place on the weekend of 4 and 5 July 2026 at Cockshott Point, Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria. The weekend features swim, bike and run disciplines using Lake Windermere for the swim, bike routes via Ambleside and shoreline paths for the run. A secure Transition Area is provided for triathletes; race and bike numbers correspond to racking positions and competitors must show race numbers to enter. Wetsuits are expected to be optional depending on water temperature. Live chip timing is used, and British Triathlon membership or a single-use race licence is required. Public parking is available around Cockshott Point and Glebe Road. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal, Wild Deer merchandise (buff or water bottle) and a drink and snack. A custom event t-shirt is optional for £12. Registration opens 11 July 2025 and closes 1 July 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
