About the race
The Minnesota Brewery Running Series presents a multi-date Fun Run Mini Series and a Championship 5K at Forgotten Star Brewing Co. in Fridley, MN. The series centers on Sunday Runday 5Ks held on select Minnesota Vikings game days and concludes with a Pre Super Bowl Championship 5K at Forgotten Star.
Each Sunday Runday uses an out-and-back 5K course completed at participants' own pace. Participants check in at Forgotten Star Brewing Co. and receive a craft beverage of choice, a collector's coaster, and reserved game day seating at the finish. The brewery provides a big screen and game day specials, and giveaways are announced at halftime.
The Championship 5K entry includes a craft beverage, exclusive swag, and a chance to appear in a "Losers Bracket" awards ceremony. Participants may accept optional challenges such as running in costume, carrying an unusual item, or adding a physical feat at the finish. Fantasy football league rules tied to the series include free registration for league losers and opportunities to win cash prizes; being in a fantasy league is not required to participate.
