Night Light - Urban Trail Series
Night Light is an evening trail run held at Battle Creek Regional Park in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on Friday October 23, 2026. The event offers multiple distances and a relay format and takes place entirely off pavement.
Distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- 15K relay (three person, three 5K laps)
The course uses primarily Nordic ski trails (about 95%) with roughly 5% single track. Runners should expect grassy and dirt surfaces and several large climbs. The course is not lit, so participants must bring a headlamp. The exchange zone for the relay is at the start/finish area.
Day of registration and bib pick-up are available outside the Battle Creek Recreation Center. Online pre-registration remains open through October 23, 2026. Registration for the event includes a race entry, a food truck coupon, and a complimentary post-race drink at Wabasha Brewing; the first 150 registrants receive an event pint glass.
Post-race amenities include a food truck and root beer. Results will be posted after the event. Race organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the race for severe weather, using American College of Sports Medicine heat and humidity guidelines and National Weather Service information.
