Anoka Gray Ghost Run
The Gray Ghost Run is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, in downtown Anoka as part of Anoka Halloween activities. The event includes a chip-timed road race and a one-mile fitness walk that follows part of the Halloween Grand Day Parade route.
Distances offered:
- 5K - chip-timed; continues on residential streets
- One-mile fitness walk - finishes near the end of the parade route
The first mile of the course passes an estimated 25,000 spectators assembled for the Grand Day Parade. Participants can pick up shirts, receive a medal for 2026, enjoy refreshments, and watch performance and costume contest awards near the finish area. The event also includes age group awards.
Organizers accept virtual results submitted anytime in October. The event listing notes add-on items such as Gray Ghost running socks, and shows support from local organizations.
