Anoka Gray Ghost Run

The Anoka Gray Ghost Run takes place in downtown Anoka on Saturday, October 24, 2026, as part of the Anoka Halloween events. The program includes a chip timed 5K and a one mile fitness walk.

The first mile of the course runs along the Halloween Grand Day Parade route and passes an estimated 25,000 cheering spectators. The one mile fitness walk finishes near the end of the parade route. 5K participants continue on residential streets after the parade section.

Participants can pick up shirts, enjoy on-course or post-race refreshments, and watch performance and costume contest awards near the end of the route. Age group awards are presented. The event accepts virtual results submitted anytime in October.
