Fun Run Mini Series + Championship 5K
This event is a mini season of Sunday Runday 5K races hosted by Minnesota Brewery Running Series at Forgotten Star Brewing Co. in Fridley, MN. The series includes multiple out-and-back 5K events held on select Minnesota Vikings game days and a final Pre Super Bowl Championship 5K at Forgotten Star.
Participants complete each 5K at their own pace and receive a craft beverage of choice, a collector's coaster, and reserved game day seating at the finish area. Forgotten Star provides a large screen and game day specials during events. The series also features halftime giveaways and a Championship 5K with exclusive swag and a Losers Bracket awards ceremony.
The event incorporates fantasy league elements: Fantasy League losers can receive free registration for the 5K and may be eligible for cash prizes. Losers Bracket challenges are optional and can include running in costume, carrying an unusual item, or adding a physical feat at the finish line. Participation in the losers activities or in a fantasy league is not required; the races are open to all interested participants.
