Bear Water Run
The Bear Water Run is an annual fundraising event organized by the White Bear Lake Lions Club to support the Club’s community work and return proceeds to the White Bear Lake area. The event was started in 2000 and takes place around White Bear Lake at Ramsey County Beach, 5050 Lake Avenue, White Bear Lake, MN 55110.
Distances offered:
- 10 mile
- 20 mile
The event features chip timing and a USATF certified course. Aid stations supply water and Gatorade approximately every two miles. Runners receive a moisture wicking race shirt and a finisher medal; medals are provided for all finishers. Food is available during the event and at the finish area. Pre-registered runners receive priority for t-shirt and medal distribution; extra shirts and medals are ordered but pre-registration guarantees the requested t-shirt size.
Entry fees have both pre-registration and race day rates, with pre-registration deadlines and pricing set in advance. Sponsorship opportunities are available to help defray event costs and provide local promotion, with a sponsorship deadline noted for planning purposes. Past years’ race results are maintained for reference. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
