Elm Creek Half Marathon & 10K
The Elm Creek event offers in-person and virtual races that take place in a 4,900 acre park north of the Twin Cities. The paved course runs over creeks, along several lakes, across prairies and through wooded areas. Wildlife commonly seen along the route includes eagles, deer and loons.
Distances available include:
- Half Marathon (live and virtual)
- 10K (live and virtual)
- 5K virtual option
The race starts and finishes at Maple Grove High School. All live participants receive a performance tech tee available in unisex and women's sizes and a finisher medal. The event records age group rankings and awards, and provides an Elm Creek Half photo frame for social media.
Entry materials can be delivered to the door or picked up in Maple Grove at Dick's Sporting Goods on the days before the event. The event benefits the Three Rivers Park District Foundation. Additional race items such as running socks are offered as add ons.
