Elm Creek Half Marathon & 10K
The event on September 12, 2026 offers road race options that run through Elm Creek Park, a 4,900 acre park. The paved course passes creeks, several lakes, prairies, and wooded sections. Runners may see local wildlife such as eagles, deer, and loons.
Race logistics and features include a start and finish at Maple Grove High School, performance tech shirts available in unisex and women's sizes, and finisher medals for all participants. The event uses age group rankings and awards. A themed Elm Creek photo frame is provided for social media.
Entry and participation options include both live and virtual formats. For live runners, bib and shirt pickup is available at Dick's Sporting Goods in Maple Grove during the days before the race, or door step delivery is offered. Virtual race options include a half marathon, 10K, and 5K.
The event benefits the Three Rivers Park District Foundation. Event support and partners include local organizations and retailers connected to the MN Run Series.
