Event Overview
The Osseo Lions Roar 5K is a community running and walking event held in Osseo, Minnesota. This race is open to participants of all ages and abilities. All proceeds generated from the event are used to support the Osseo Senior High cross country team.
The course for the 5K begins at the Osseo Senior High track. From the starting point, the route proceeds through the residential neighborhoods of Osseo and concludes with a finish along Central Avenue.
Registration and Participation
Participants can register for the event online or in person on the morning of the race. A t-shirt is guaranteed for individuals who complete their online registration by September 1st. For those registering after this date, shirts are distributed based on remaining availability and are not guaranteed.
The race utilizes chip-timing technology, and the final results are made available online following the completion of the event. While there is no formal awards ceremony, medals and prizes are presented at the finish line to the top male and female finishers across several age groups, ranging from 10 and under to 60 and older.
Following the race, the local area hosts the Osseo Lions Roar celebration, which includes a parade and various family activities.
