MLVFD Fired Up for the 4th 5K, Mountain Lakes NJ
MLVFD Fired Up for the 4th 5K takes place on June 20, 2026, at the Saint Catherine of Siena parking lot, 10 North Pocono Road, Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. The event is organized as a 5K running and walking event with multiple registration categories.
Registration categories listed by the organizer include non-public safety runners and walkers, public safety entrants (fire, police, and EMS), and a category for military, veterans, and seniors. Published registration fees are $35.00 for non-public safety entrants and $30.00 for public safety, military, veterans, and senior categories. Limited parking is available at St. Catherine of Siena Church. On-street parking is noted as available on Pocono Road, West Shore Road, and nearby neighborhood streets such as Roberts Drive and Arden Road. Participants are asked not to park on East Shore Road, North Crane, or Crane because those roads are part of the 5K course route. All pre- and post-race activities are scheduled at the far end of the parking lot, including day of race registration, bib and t-shirt pickup, music, refreshments, firefighting demonstrations, and the awards ceremony. Participants will move as a group from the parking lot to the start line on West Shore Road shortly before the race begins.
Awards are planned for the fastest male and female firefighters, police, and EMS, as well as overall runners and age group winners.
