Event details
The Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes Triathlon takes place in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey on June 20, 2026. The race offers two entry options: an individual triathlon and a relay team option. Registration closes on June 16, 2026. Registration will be limited to a maximum of 500 participants and there are no race day registrations. The minimum age to compete as an individual or team member is 14.
Course and format
The race starts and finishes at the Indian Trail Club and includes the following segments:
- 0.5 mile lake swim
- 13 mile bike course through Franklin Lakes
- 3.1 mile run that circles Franklin Lake
Swimmers start in age-group waves with assigned bathing cap colors. Wetsuits are required if the water temperature is below 66 degrees. Drafting on the bike is not allowed. The course will close three hours after the start.
Awards and logistics
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall, top three Clydesdale (men) and Athena (women) finishers, top three relay teams, and top three male and female finishers in each age category. Timing chips must be returned at the end of the race. The event is subject to cancellation for weather and refunds are not issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
