XTERRA Transcend Trail Run
XTERRA Transcend Trail Run takes place on June 20, 2026 at Dickerson Mine Preserve, Black River Barn, in Randolph, New Jersey. The event is organized by XTERRA and offers multiple trail running distances on natural singletrack through wooded corridors and lakeside sections.
The event format includes these race distances:
- Trail Half Marathon, two 6.8 mile loops, 400 ft elevation gain per loop
- 10K Trail Run, 6.8 mile loop, 400 ft elevation gain
- 5K Trail Run, 3.1 miles, 170 ft elevation gain
Courses feature marked singletrack with lakeside views. The start, lap, and finish areas are located at Black River Barn, which provides outdoor dining and beer on tap for the post-race area. Main parking is at Black River Barn; extended parking is available at Education Station for half marathon competitors who need additional time to finish.
The event is a qualifier for the 2027 XTERRA Trail Run World Championships. All registered participants receive access to RideWithGPS files with audio cues for navigation. Finishers may receive a limited edition XTERRA Transcend coffee mug while supplies last. Awards are distributed in age group categories for the half marathon and 10K, and overall medals for the 5K.
