Event overview
The Miwok 100K is a trail ultramarathon near Stinson Beach, California. The course covers 62 miles with over 11,000 feet of elevation gain and is set in the Marin Headlands north of San Francisco. The event has a field limit of 400 runners and a time limit of 15 hours and 30 minutes. The race date for 2026 is May 2, 2026. The event also offers a Relay option and had fundraising-entry options for the 100K that include a 16-week training plan.
Course and race services
The route passes through redwoods, exposed ridgelines, and coastal cliffs. The course is described as well-marked and demanding, with intermediate cutoffs and staffed aid stations. Community and sustainability
The event has operated as a cup-less, low-waste race since 2013 and partners with 1% for the Planet, Leave No Trace, and GU Energy Labs. A Diversity Initiative launched in 2020 aims to expand access and representation for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. Volunteer service of at least eight hours earns priority registration for the following year.
