Event overview
The Miwok 100K is a trail ultramarathon scheduled for May 2, 2026 in Stinson Beach, California. The event includes the 100K individual race, a 100K team relay for teams of four, and a paired training-plan option that is sold with the 100K entry. Entry fees listed are $310 for the 100K, $460 for the 100K plus training plan, and $400 for the team relay. Registration opens November 9, 2025 at 6:00am PST. Entries are open to ages 18 to 80. When the 100K is full, registrants are placed on a waitlist; registered runners who drop prior to February 1 receive a $110 (40%) refund.
Course, support and community
The course has about 11,800 feet of elevation gain and uses single-track trails and dirt roads with roughly one mile of paved road. The route offers views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, Mount Tamalpais, redwood forest, and the Point Reyes National Seashore. Course marking and volunteer support are described as strong. Professional medical staff are hired for aid stations. Runners for 2026 will receive a custom finisher’s medal and a Miwok 100K mug.
The event has long-standing sustainability practices, including cup-free operations since 2013, recycling, food composting, and partnerships for recycling race nutrition packaging. The race runs a diversity initiative and donates to local organizations such as Running For A Better Oakland, 510 Hikers, Runners for Public Lands, The Coast Miwok of Marin, The Nomadic Adventure Club, and Ultra Fitness Beyond Imagination.
