Mission Inn Run
The 49th Annual Mission Inn Run takes place in downtown Riverside on October 18, 2026. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Mission Inn Foundation and supports the Mission Inn Museum and the foundation’s preservation and educational programs.
The course has traditionally launched in downtown Riverside and winds through local parks, landmarks, and historic neighborhoods. Races and participation options are offered both in person and virtually, with events organized for different distances and formats:
- 5K Run
- 5K Walk
- 10K
- 1/2 Marathon
- Kids Fun Run (1/2K) open to ages 12 and under
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 10K
- Virtual 1/2 Marathon
All participants receive event items including a 2026 limited edition dry tech T-shirt, a 2026 finisher medal, and a limited edition non woven reusable tote bag. The event includes a Walk & Wag partnership with Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center featuring a pet bandana and a pop up dog park. Teams of five or more receive a five dollar discount per member, and referring five or more friends can earn up to twenty dollars off registration.
The Mission Inn Foundation, established to preserve and interpret the Mission Inn legacy, operates the Mission Inn Museum which relocated to 3598 Main Street in November 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
