Event Overview
The Mini Donut Half Marathon and 5k Honor Walk/Run is an annual sporting event held in Onalaska, Wisconsin. The event features two primary distances for participants:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 3.1 miles (5k Honor Walk/Run)
The half marathon begins at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Riders Club Road, located near the Onalaska YMCA and the Omni Center. Participants follow a route along the Great River State Trail, passing Lytle's Landing before turning around. The course then transitions onto County Road Z and concludes at Swarthout Park on Brice's Prairie.
The 5k Honor Walk/Run is a looped course that starts and ends at Swarthout Park. The path heads south on County Road ZB and incorporates the US Fish and Wildlife trails, including the Main Trail and the South Loop. Both the half marathon and the 5k are timed events.
All participants wearing an official race bib receive a finisher medal. Half marathon finishers are provided with donuts and various race items at the finish line, while 5k participants receive a technical event shirt. Recognition is available for individual age division winners in the half marathon and for the best overall female and male times in the 5k distance.
