Minehead Triathlon
Minehead Triathlon is organised by Channel Events and takes place at The Adventure Centre, Minehead, Somerset TA24 5BG. The event is scheduled for 18 October 2026 and is presented as a sprint triathlon that uses the coastal location and nearby moorland.
Since 2018 the swim leg is a 750 m open water sea swim within the bay below North Hill. The bike route is an out and back course toward the village of Porlock on roads that run alongside the high moorland terrain of Exmoor National Park; the route includes fast and undulating sections. The run is a 5 km route combining the flat paved seafront promenade and off road trails through the woods of Culver Cliff, and it includes a short climb known as the "Cheeky Climb" Strava segment before returning to a seafront finish on the beach.
The event offers individual and mixed relay entries, with wave starts listed in the entry options. Organisers provide an option to decline a physical memento; medals and t shirt packs are available to purchase as an optional extra, and the last date to buy them is one month before the event. Entry fee is listed at £55 for the available waves. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
