Steaming to the Coast

Steaming to the Coast is an exciting trail running event organized by Channel Events, set to take place in 2025. Participants will enjoy a unique experience by riding the longest standard gauge steam railway line in the UK, traveling from Minehead to Bishops Lydeard. Runners can choose from three distances: 11 km, 11 miles, or a full marathon.

The marathon route offers stunning views of the Quantock Hills and follows scenic trails back to Minehead. Entrants can also opt to reach the start lines independently.
