Barry 40 Mile Track Race, 1 March 2026
The 40th Annual Barry 40 Mile Track Race will be held at Jenner Park Stadium in Barry on Sunday 1 March 2026. The event incorporates the 37th Welsh Ultra Distance Championships and is organised by Les Croupiers RC.
The event includes the following distances:
- 40 miles incorporating the 37th Welsh Ultra Distance Championships
- Marathon alongside the 40 mile race
Entrants must download an Invitation letter and an Entry form and return the completed entry form to the organiser's address by Saturday 21 February 2026. The race entry fee is £40. Entry is limited to 40 runners because of the number of lap scorers the organisers can provide.
Runners are asked, if possible, to nominate and bring a personal lap scorer and to document this on the entry form. If a runner cannot provide a scorer the organisers will try to accommodate them; replacement scorers can be amended on the day if available. A six hour time limit will be enforced to indicate when the track should be vacated as a courtesy to volunteers and officials.
A race programme and past results are maintained by the organiser. Historically, recorded results show that a majority of starters have completed the 40 miles in past races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
