Events and Pricing

The event offers three distances:

  • A 5K run/walk.
  • A Youth 1 Mile run/walk for ages 3-17.
  • An Adult 1 Mile run/walk for ages 18 and over.

The entry fee is $35 for the 5K, $20 for the Youth 1 Mile, and $25 for the Adult 1 Mile. These prices are scheduled to increase after April 21, 2026.

Event Day Information

On the day of the event, packet pickup is available from 7:00 AM until 8:25 AM at the Town Hall (117 Butler St., Bowling Green). A pre-event packet pickup is also offered on Friday, May 1st, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Caroline Family YMCA in Ruther Glen. Bib numbers are assigned at packet pickup.

The National Anthem is scheduled for 7:55 AM. The 1 Mile events start at 8:00 AM, followed by the 5K start at 8:30 AM. Awards ceremonies are held at 9:15 AM for the 1 Mile and at 9:30 AM for the 5K.

Street parking is available, as well as parking lots at Town Hall and on Chase Street.

Awards

For the 5K, overall awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers based on gun time. Age group awards are given to the top male and female finisher in several categories, based on chip time.

For the 1 Mile events, overall awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers based on gun time. Age group awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in several youth age categories, based on chip time.
