Beach Bunny 5K, Jennings Beach, Fairfield CT
The Beach Bunny 5K is a community event hosted by Fairfield Community Services at Jennings Beach on March 28, 2026. The program includes a chip timed 5K, a family walk and children's Easter egg scrambles, plus a beachfront activity area.

- 5K (3.1 mi), computer chip timed
- Family Bunny Hop, about 0.8 mile walk, untimed
Children's Easter egg scrambles are held on the beach in two age groups, and participants are asked to bring their own baskets. The event village called the Bunny Burrow features a DJ, a roving magician, face painting, balloon twisting, a petting zoo, photos with the Easter Bunny, food and beverages for purchase, and a Sponsor Square highlighting local partners.
Registration fee tiers apply for the 5K and the Bunny Hop and egg scrambles are free. Shirt sizing is guaranteed through March 13, 2026; shirts are available for purchase onsite. Shirt and bib pickup is available at the Fairfield Parks and Recreation office in the days before the event and bib pickup is also available on event day at Jennings Beach.
Complimentary parking is provided at Jennings Beach, 880 South Benson Road, with alternative parking at nearby lots. Results are emailed to registered participants and awards are given by age group, with special prizes for overall winners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
