Beach Bunny 5K - Fairfield, CT
The Beach Bunny 5K is a community event hosted by Fairfield Community Services at Jennings Beach in Fairfield, CT on March 28, 2026. The event includes a chip-timed 5K (3.1 miles), a family-friendly walk called the Bunny Hop, and two separate children's Easter egg scrambles for different age groups. Logistics, swag and policies
Shirt sizing is guaranteed through March 13, 2026; after that shirts are available as inventory allows. Event shirt pickup and bib pickup are offered at Fairfield Parks & Recreation (75 Mill Plain Road) on March 23-27 and additional bib pickup is available on event day at Jennings Beach (880 South Benson Road). Beach Bunny shirts will also be sold onsite for $15. Strollers and well-behaved, leash-trained dogs are permitted. The event takes place rain or shine; if weather forces a change, the children's egg scrambles may be rescheduled for April 4, 2026. Refunds are not available. Awards include age-group edible medallions and grand prize cookie platters for overall fastest finishers by Male, Female and Non-Binary categories.
