Enchanted Forest Ultra Run - Mar 21, 2026

The Enchanted Forest Ultra Run is a timed trail event held at Roosevelt Forest, 700 Peters Lane, Stratford, CT. The event is offered as a 6-hour format with the option to aim for a 50K distance. Participants may complete as many miles as they wish within the 6-hour window or target the 50K milestone. The event is limited to 50 participants.

Course and race format

The course is an irregular loop of 2.3 miles with about 191 feet of elevation gain per loop. Trails are single and double track featuring roots, rocks and rolling hills typical of New England. Course markings will use signs and flags.

Logistics, rules and services

Registration is final with no refunds, bib transfers or deferrals. Entrants must be at least 18 years old or have a parental/guardian signed waiver. CDC, state and town requirements are applied. Hiking poles and ear buds are permitted; dogs are not permitted for the race (the forest follows a leash policy). Food and hydration are provided, with pizza options around midday and non-alcoholic beer available from a sponsor. Podium awards are given for most miles from 1st to 5th overall; participants completing more than four hours receive an Enchanted Ultra event medal. Race shirts and additional swag are available.
