Event overview
The Enchanted Forest Ultra Run takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Roosevelt Forest in Stratford, CT. The event offers a time-based ultra and a distance option: participants may run for six hours or aim for a 50K. The field is limited to 50 participants. Registration is final; there are no refunds, bib transfers, or deferrals. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have a parental or guardian signed waiver. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
Course and facilities
The course is an irregular loop of 2.3 miles with about 191 feet of elevation gain per loop. Trails are single and double track with roots, rocks, and rolling hills typical of New England. The course will be marked with signs and flags. Roosevelt Forest is located at 700 Peters Lane, Stratford, CT. Hiking poles and earbuds are permitted. Dogs are not allowed in the race; an on-leash policy applies in the forest.
Logistics, support and awards
Hydration and food stations are provided, and race swag includes items from a sponsor. Podium awards are given for the most miles from first through fifth overall. Participants who run more than four hours receive an Enchanted Ultra event medal. Event operations follow applicable CDC, state, and town requirements.
