Miles for Miracles 5k Run & Walk to benefit the Rescue Mission of Utica
The event takes place at TR Proctor Park in Utica, NY on August 8, 2026. It offers two distances:
- 5 km
- 1 mile
Proceeds benefit the Rescue Mission of Utica, an organization that serves people facing addiction, homelessness, mental health challenges, and food insecurity. The Rescue Mission has provided services in the Utica area for over 135 years, including shelter, meals, addiction recovery programs, and mental health support.
The route runs through Proctor Park and is described as scenic. Timing services for the 5k are provided by TNT Timing. Awards are planned for the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5k.
Registration opens March 15, 2026. Base registration for the 5k is $28; fees increase to $35 on May 31, to $40 on July 31, and to $45 on race day. The 1 mile walk registration fee is $18. Walk registration does not include a t-shirt; shirts may be purchased on race day and sizes are not guaranteed after July 15.
Packet pick up is scheduled the week of August 3–7 at the Rescue Mission of Utica Administration Building, 293 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13501. Race day packet pick up will occur at Proctor Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
