Miles for Miracles 5k Run & Walk
Miles for Miracles is a fundraising run and walk held at Proctor Park in Utica, NY to benefit the Rescue Mission of Utica. The Rescue Mission provides shelter, meals, addiction recovery programs, mental health support, and other services for people facing homelessness, addiction, and food insecurity and has served the community for over 135 years.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5k Run
- 1 Mile Walk
The 5k has timing services provided by TNT Timing and awards for overall and age group winners. Registration for the 5k opens March 15; the base fee is $28 with scheduled increases to $35 on May 31, $40 on July 31, and $45 on race day. The 1 mile walk has a registration fee of $18; walk registration does not include a t-shirt. T-shirts may be purchased on race day for an additional cost and sizes are not guaranteed after July 15.
Packet pick up is scheduled for the week of the event, August 3 through August 7, at the Rescue Mission of Utica administration building at 293 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13501. Race day packet pick up will also be available at Proctor Park. Volunteer and sponsor opportunities are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
