Little Falls Freedom Run and Youth Run

The event is a community running program held in Ward Square (Eastern Park), Little Falls, New York, on August 8, 2026. It includes a main 5-kilometer race and a short youth run that takes place shortly before the 5K on the same course start and finish area.

Registration opens June 30 and closes August 6. There is no day-of registration. Runners who register before July 25 are guaranteed a commemorative race glass. The youth run is free. Reduced entry pricing is available for younger participants.

Awards are presented at a ceremony after the races. A course map and directions are provided for the 5K. The event coincides with the city’s annual Canal Days Celebration and is listed with a local sponsor, Little Falls Lumber.
