Twisted Twig 5K : Rome, NY
The Twisted Twig 5K is a community fundraising event on 08/08/2026 at 720 Railroad St., Rome, NY 13440. The event includes a run/walk 5K and a separate Kids Obstacle Fun Run, organized in partnership with Copper City Fitness. One hundred percent of event proceeds benefit the Rome Twigs, a volunteer organization that supports Rome Health.
The Rome Twigs were founded in 1907 and now include over 100 members across 12 branches. The group helps fund hospital equipment, operates the hospital gift shop, and organizes the annual Tree of Lights campaign, among other local initiatives.
