The event raises funds to support local migraine and headache disease research, as well as education for headache fellows (doctors receiving specialty training). Specific beneficiary organizations include Miles for Migraine, the Jefferson Headache Center, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Headache Fellowship program, and the UPENN Headache Center.
Other Information
Strollers are permitted for both the run and walk activities. Participants with strollers are asked to start toward the back of their group for safety.
